Comments

Korhaan is the name given to some of South African bustards. Only the male Black Korhaans, whether Northern or Southern, have a black neck. In both sexes, the back is barred, without chevron-shape markings. The ranges of the Northern and Southern species do not overlap. This bird was photographed in Etosha National Park and is therefore a male Northern Black Korhaan.
